Shoot No.7 Work Diary

In this shoot i wanted to capture water being poured in to a glass. I had to stop the light from hitting the glass and the water otherwise the water would not have been clear.

This is my first photograph which i feel was one of my most successful from this shoot. This is due to it capturing the bubbles as the pouring water entered the glass. When editing this photograph i changed the sharpness to make it appear more define and also added a blue tone which links to the fact that it is water. I would have liked to added bubbles to the water to make it more dramatic and interesting as a photograph.

This is my second photograph which i feel was one of my least successful photographs from this shoot. This is due to the water not really showing any impact from the water which is being poured in. However i still sharpened the photograph, along with levels and curves to see whether i could make the small impacts more dramatic however this was unsuccessful.

If i was to continue with this shoot i would add some bubble to the glass of water to make it appear like there was more of a dramatic impact from the water which was being poured in. I would also like to experiment with changing the background colour so that the water appears the same colour.
