Shoot No.1 Work Diary

In this lesson i did a shoot using glow stick. I changed the shutter speed so that i could achieve the photographs that i wanted to.

In my first photograph i loved the colours that could be seen and also i like the composition of where the glow sticks were. The fact that all the colours looked like they merged together, allowed a single shape to be formed rather than individual glow sticks. I also like the way that the colour seems to fade as they get to the center of the photograph.
In my second photograph i want to create a rainbow of colours with the glow sticks and i feel that this photograph did it successfully. I liked the way the colours seem to fan out from the corner of the composition and also the colour get darker. The fact that i can see parts of the glow stick, this help separate the colours to create the rainbow that i wanted.

If i was to continue with this shoot i would like to move the glow sticks in different directions and also put the glow sticks on a model to them see the glow sticks move as the model does.
